Aiko Tanaka

Lead Editorial Writer

Aiko Tanaka is a seasoned comic book editor and writer with over 15 years of experience in the industry. She has worked with numerous independent creators and major publishers, helping to shape some of the most acclaimed comic series of the past decade. Her expertise lies in character development, plot structure, and visual pacing. Aiko holds a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from the University of Southern California and is passionate about nurturing emerging talent in the comic book world.

Kenji Sato

Visual Narrative Specialist

Kenji Sato is a renowned visual narrative specialist, bringing a wealth of experience in animation and sequential art to PanelVerse Studios. Kenji studied at the California Institute of the Arts and has contributed to several award-winning animated films and comic book projects. His work focuses on effective visual communication, composition, and dynamic storytelling techniques. Kenji's workshops help students understand how to create visually engaging pages that captivate readers and enhance the narrative experience.

Sakura Ishii

Storytelling and Scripting Editor

Sakura Ishii is a gifted storyteller and scripting editor, specializing in crafting compelling narratives and dialogue for comic books. With a background in playwriting and screenwriting, Sakura brings a unique perspective to the art of sequential storytelling. Her workshops guide students through the process of developing engaging characters, building dramatic tension, and writing effective scripts that translate seamlessly into visual art. Sakura is a graduate of the American Film Institute and is committed to fostering diverse voices in the comic book industry.
